many walls to climb

having chatted with a close girlfriend of mine this afternoon, i came to realize that maybe im still far away from saying whats on my mind out loud.

she said, "since im 100, why do i have to settle for a 70?"
well, i dont know a lot about grades,
but one thing i do know is that,
we r both too old to tolerate discrepancies which we could put up with when we were still young.


and what frightens me the most is that maybe, after all, those differences will make us wind up in divergent paths inevitably.
