原本是希望在某天的晚上一個人靜靜地 貪婪地獨自品嚐這部片的
但之前的晚上都拿來工作或是鬼混掉了
還片的日子又近在眼前
所以不得不在禮拜天接近傍晚這樣很不對勁的時刻欣賞電影
之所以很不對勁是因為這個時候室友正好在準備晚餐
於是進進出出的忙東忙西
或是在附近討論著什麼咖啡應該搭配什麼樣的蛋糕好之類的話題
這時我才瞭解到我對於看電影（尤其是這種需要投注心力的劇情片）這檔事的投入程度有多高
就是會想把耳邊的一切雜音通通掃走那‧麼‧的‧高。
部分原因也可能是因為我通常會希望能夠聽清楚劇中人所講的英文是什麼
別誤會喔，這可不完全是基於學習英文的立場
而是希望除了透過中文字幕的詮釋
能夠有些更根本、更貼近的理解而已。
好，進入正題，這部片的內容基本上跟我的想像沒有太大的差距
也就是以演技精湛的演員撐起大樑
但是在劇情和手法上不太有特殊新意的一部片
就如同某位網友所講的一樣：
「關於記憶操弄或重塑的電影多如牛毛，優秀者如【魔鬼總動員】、【記憶拼圖】，浮濫者如【記憶裂痕】、【靈異拼圖】」
美國本來就很愛拍這種繞著陰謀論（conspiracy）打轉的片
不過有什麼辦法呢 就是有我這種愛看的人存在（笑）
但是當片中出現像是某些角色喃喃自語「我不是瘋子」或是在身上發現植入晶片的老梗
還真的有一點像是在看「X檔案」、「絕命大反擊」...等的錯覺
不過事實還是證明為了Meryl Streep和丹佐神而租這部片還是值得的
梅莉史翠普飾演的野心政客演來入木三分
可謂是本片的靈魂人物 片頭她對一屋子議員砲火全開的場面看來真是令人大呼過癮
Ellie：I will do whatever is necessary to protect America from anyone who opposes her. You know we are on the brink of another cataclysm, probably nuclear, on our soil. And it's not from random terrorists, but from convert alliances of disaffected nations who have all been made bold by thins kind of Jordan one-worlder who believes that human beings are essentially good and that our power is somehow, i don't know, shameful or evil or neverto be used.
Make no mistake, the American people are terrified. They know something is coming. They can feel it. And we can shovel them the same old shit and call it sugar or we can arm them. We can arm them with a young, vibrant vice president. We can give them heat, energy, give them a war hero with heart, forged by enemy fire in the desert in the dark, when American lives hung in the balance
丹佐在本片中的角色相對就內斂許多
不過接近結尾時他對Raymond的一番激昂言論還是很振奮人心
Ben： We are connected and that's something nobody can take away from us. You could have me locked up but you didn't. That's proof that there is something deep inside. There's a part that they can't get to. And it's deep inside of us. And that's where the truth is. That's our only hope. That's what you and me need to tap into, and that's what you and I are gonna use to take them out, Raymond.

附註：電影中將邪惡的企業組織取名為滿州集團（Manchurian）實際上是有意義的，電影原名The Manchurian Candidate意指滿州集團的候選人，然而Manchurian Candidate的本意正是「經過特定組織洗腦後一味服從其命令之人」。(轉引自某blog)
